Title: Double move lots of times...
Post by: legolas3333 on December 09, 2009, 11:34:50 AM
Frodo, Resolute Hobbit
The One Ring, Ring Of Rings

Sam, Son Of Hamfast x2
Gandalf, Leader Of The Company x3
Aragorn, King In Exile (Start)
Boromir, Lord Of Gondor x3
Faramir, Son of Denethor x3
Ranger of Westernesse
Smeagol, Poor Creature (Start)

Gandalf's Hat x2

Out Of The High Airs x4
Traveled Leader x4
Last Throw x4

Follow Smeagol x2
No Stranger To The Shadows x4
A Talent For Not Being Seen x2

Sites
Caras Galadhon
The Prancing Pony
West Gate Of Moria

so 40 cards, should be slimmed down a bit, Traveled Leader and pathfinder to control the site path use caras galdhon when you need it, sam for burden removal, boromir to neutralize the big minions, aragorn to heal boromir, the idea being to double and triple most of the time, removing extra twilight with Gandalf's hat, discarding every minion with Out of the high airs, drawing with radagast's staff and then choke with No Stranger To The Shadows and A Talent For Not Being Seen.

hmmm, while typing a response I thought of building a deck myself like this, will come back at it. Oh and will try to make it standard :-)

changed a bunch, now down to 36 cards

follow smeagol instead of pathfinder, i wanted to keep traveled leader cause you don't know until the maneuver phase if you need caras galadhon.

Why not run three copies of Caras Galadhon, three copies of The Prancing Pony, and whatever remainders you prefer? Start Gandalf and grab Aragorn, Boromir, and Faramir at the next three sites!

Because it is not allowed for some strange reason...:P. Well-traveled though would be cool, which allows you to play 2 sites when at site 3.

Oh, and this is just aesthetics, but Faramir, Son of Denethor (P) is way better than Faramir, Son of Denethor.

Totally agreed!

yeah, you can't repeat sites in your deck (you can play them more than once with certain cards) nor repeat the same shadow number in your adventure deck more than three times.
