So if i have
4 x The Shire Countryside
and remove two burdens using the Caves of Aglarond
do i heal a companion up to 8 times OR heal two companions up to 4 times each OR or just heal 4 or 8 wounds from anyone?
-
you heal 8 wounds from wherever you want - 1 wound each from 8 companions, 2 each from 4, etc.
-
Oh - thanks. I wondered if the wording meant it had to all come from the same companion. That makes Shire Countryside really good! but i guess everyone already knew this :)

The Shire Countryside is a power card from Realms of the Elf Lords. Many, many combinations with that card for massive healing.

I agree it is a power-card. I have limited experience playing with it or against it, but it seems OP to me. Surprised it is not unique or restricted.
-
It is vulnerable to conditiondiscard. But such cards in combination with others, like that initiative lose cards makes people use Saruman's Power. Cause if you have no condition discard hobbits choke, heal and remove burdens like crazy...annoying. So powerful cards ask for desperate measures, sadly
-
But notice that it is X-ed in Expanded, and in Standard it's not part of the rotation. So generally it wouldn't be used at that site.
-
Fair enough - I was just trying to get a measure of how the card actually works in my FoTR deck -and wanted to compare it to a site that removed burdens - it was the first one i found.
-
Ok - new question about the shire countryside
I have Frodo SOD and Boromir SOD and Merry FTS - each with the Frodo Signet
I also have 4 x The Shire Countryside
I exert either Merry or Bormoir to heal Frodo (using Frodo SOD gametext) then play Extraordinary Resilience. Does this trigger TSC - so I can remove a burden and heal 4? or being a response to a hobbits game text does it not work? Does it matter if i use Merry or Boromir - given Merry is a hobbit?
-
I would think you could heal no matter what because the burden removing is coming from extraordinary resilience
-
That is what i am hoping for - but in case there is some strange rule which i am not aware of - i want to be sure before playing my new deck in fotr league
-
Consider what is removing the burden, in this case it is the event
