Post by: sharkey on January 12, 2010, 07:19:33 AM: It's a space-age futuristic resource gathering game. The goal is to destroy the opponent's starbase. You use ships to take over and gather resources from regions, and the locations within. A region or your starbase can be attacked, though, so you have to be careful with how you deploy your ships. It's pretty fun. I'm playing with a starter deck, but it seems they didn't hold back too much on the strength of the decks.

You could try to find a starter deck on ebay, but it would probably be more than it's worth, and I'm not sure who would play you. It's sad because it's a good game, they just failed at marketing. The game boxes don't really scream, "PLAY ME!" like others do...

Post by: veBu on January 12, 2010, 01:41:01 PM: EVE: CCG is probably one of the challenging (maybe it's just me but it feel like I'm always struggling with ISK :lol:) and fun CCG/TCG I have ever played but only in multiplayer games (preferably 2vs2) because one on one games are just plain silly, let's see which player generates ISK faster and you know who's the winner.
