Fool's Hope
does this card discard everything (including possessions and artifacts) or just conditions?

Just conditions. But you're right this is a bit unclear.

if there is no erratta, and if 'all cards do what they say', you should be able to discard all minios, possessions artifacts, etc... just leaving 2 conditions. mop up with new awakened... good solid strategy. ;-)

"discard all" includes their draw deck, of course. :P

Wouldn't that give back to the average man his dreams in the first place?

Don't be ridiculous! [-X A Fool's Hope can only get rid of cards. You have to go through their entire collection and rip up every card except for 2 conditions.

And the remaining two conditions I would leave them with would be...

THE WEIGHT OF A LEGACY!

But Fool's Hope discards minions, draw decks, and companions, so it's a moot point. It's the second Steadfast Champion, although it doesn't make the move limit infinite.

I still prefer The Watcher in the Water,KOW. As long as you're not at a marsh, you can play it and discard all your opponent's minions.

Yeah, I play him 4 times and also in my starting fellowship, he's just awesome!

I've always wondered what would happen if the shadow player put their hands over their eyes and said, " I can't spot the watcher, no one has to discard their minions. If you have minions, I can't tell."

Yeah, all about spotting... I see my 7 copies of Bregalad in my trade-bunch, ,so my Host of Fangorn as starting goes for free!
