Title: My niece

Well, in the case of familly affairs, I became an uncle too, 2 weeks ago. Only sad thing is that a week ago seh had to go to the hospital after an emergency. She wasn't reacting at all, and now she's still on IC. Everything is being monitored, but the crew don't know what is going on. Exciting times for my family, especially for my brother and his wife...

Congrats on becoming an uncle. We'll be thinking about your family.
As a parent who has gone through something similar, it can be tough both physically and mentally.
My youngest (16 months) just had his 10th surgery on Tuesday - we feel for your brother and his wife.
Keep thinking good thoughts - they really help.
