??? Does anybody know if there's any difference between a 1st or 2nd edition of this card?
Thanks

the second edition has an incorrect date printed on it.
-
What? two editions? I don't understand...
-
when the hunters was printed, Thorongil was underprinted so it was reprinted for hunters boosters with Rise Of Saruman, however the date on the second printings was incorrect.

The original print run has the correct date (2006), the 2nd print has "2005" printed on it. Also, the reprint has a more reddish/orange tint to it. Fits more the RoS colour palette than the TH one. At least, it looks a bit off when put in with the rest of Hunters cards.
BTW, does anybody know how it was distributed? Did it take the place of a rare, common, or uncommon? I am just curious. The reprint seems to be all over the place compared to the first print.

I remember it being in the place of an uncommon.

Thanks Legolas, Unun & Lurtzy! Getting back into the game and I can remember that card being around $20-30 at one time but I couldn't remember why. About to buy one and wanted to make sure I was getting the right one. Thanks!
PS - not for $20-30 - much less now. :hey:
