Title: Haunting her steps
Post by: hrcho on January 23, 2010, 11:04:49 PM
This was the situation: My Faramir, Son of Denethor (bearing Boromir's Gauntlets) is skirmishing an Uruk-hai and Grima. I exert him to cancel that skirmish, but my opponent plays Haunting her steps to prevent that. I told him he couldn't use it because the special ability used is not of companion, but of possesion. He says that Haunting her steps still cancels it. We closed the discussion by noticing that Faramir is Ring-bound, but just to make sure:

Does Haunting her steps includes the special abilities of possesions borne by unbound companions or allies?

No, Haunting Her Steps only cancels special abilities whose source is an ally or unbound companion (printed on those cards).

I agree with ES; it's only special abilities "of an ally or unbound companion."
