Fellowship
One thing i like about this fellowship that there is no cards choking your hand, every thing you get you play, so there are no events just fortifications and possessions.
So get your fortifications and possessions out, exhaust, exert, kill, or win skirmishes and pull out your fortifications in regroup :)
Well that's the theory :)
I'm thinking about adding one more Gondor Bow , Knight's Mount , Gondorian Sword and 2 more Sixth Level , to get them faster and to pull more fortifications out in regroup.
And i need something more to heal, Alcarin, Warrior of Lamedon , Aragorn, Captain of Gondor and Ingold are only "healers" here and sometimes that may not be enough.
Ringberer is well protected whit Scroll of Isildur and Narsil, Blade of the Faithful, 9 rez , 6 life and 11 str and there is Sam, Son Of Hamfast to remove unwanted burdens.
Shadow
This shadow needs some tweaking. I would like to add 2 x Grima, Wormtongue, coz Weary also counts as card that a companion bears, and 2 x Caradhras Has Not Forgiven Us to use as a combo whit Weary and i need Greed for 5+ companions...
But there are so many cards and so little space :)
Suggestions are welcome!
P.S. my spelling is almost flawless but my grammar sux's huh? :)

I prefer Citadel of the Stars over City Wall.
-
A couple of Stone Tower would be handy for Enquea, ToTO protection.
I prefer Knight's Spear over Gondorian Sword.
-
Footman's Armor for Isildur and Strong and Old is quite useful.
I agree with Knight's Spear over Gondorian Sword and I recommend four copies of Gondor Bow.

shadow suggestions:
36 cards is plenty to have a decent tracker deck. but cut some pumps man, you DO NOT need 8. (granted, playing 4x vengeance if fun, but not necessarily always gonna work.)
so, here's what i'd do if i were you.
-cut at least 3x pumps. i'd probably cut 3x kill them now. and maybe even 1x vengeance.
-i'd lose the 2x what did you discover
-and 2x mauhir, patrol leader
mauhir could be nice, but you have a nice set of 4x swords that do the same thing, and you can use the extra twilight. at least with what i'd add, you'd need the twilight.
+2x many riddles (this guy is great, because say you end up with a couple vengeance a sword and one minion? play e'm use all the extra twilight to make sure you get to that companion.)
+2x greed. (again, use the extra twilight for punnishing big fellowships. you can get by with one copy)
+1x lurtz, servant of saruman
+add 1x uruk plains runner & 1x uruk runner

Uruk Plains Runner is one of my all-time favorites!

Keep What did you discover? its awesome to stop your opponent from double-moving.

For the trackers: I'd go with Grima or Vengeance, but not both. Personally I'd go with Vengeance because I don't like Grima. He's powerful, but I don't think he's fun to play against.
For the knights: I like fifth level over city wall and Turgon over Ingold. I also would add a Gondor Bow and get rid of a knight's mount. I'd probably get rid of the 2 other knight's mounts for 2 strong and old.

Vengeance is one of the greatest counters to Durin III seeing as Grima, Wormtongue is going to get hit with Slaked Thirsts.

Fellowship
so, i took out
3x knight's mount, 1x Catapult , 4x City Wall,
and put in
1x Gondor Bow (so 4x now) , 1x Gondorian Sword (4x now),2x Sixth Level (4x now) , 1x Citadel of the Stars ,1x •Stone Tower, 2x Fifth Level and 1x •Strong and Old.
4x Sixth Level i really cool, geting fortifications out and whit Fifth Level strenght - X is really nice :)
Shadow
So i cut
4x Kill Them Now, 1x What did you discover?, 3x • Uglúk, Servant of Saruman,
put in
2x Grima (muhuhuhahahhahaha), 2x Caradhras Has Not Forgiven Us to, 1x Greed and 1x of each tracker except Ugluk.
And now it needs some testing :)

wait, why get rid of ugluk? hes the MAN! i mean, just for the roaming penalty ability, hes super useful at sites 2,3, and 4. he IS an uruk tracker, so if you play one other tracker he's an easy strength +3, drop one more tracker on the table if you have the twilight, and you've got a frierce, damage +1 strength 12 tracker, that can take advantage of vengeance and all those search cards.
i also think grima is counter productive to the tracker strategy, if you are going to take out a minion, make it be mauhir, patrol leader, because you have the swords to replace his ability. and again i'd sugest a copy of many riddles.
-
I think that most (good) decks have Grima, Wormtongue protection. Granted, decks that just don't play three possessions/artifacts are going to have to deal with the search conditions, but if you think Wormtongue is going to beat Durin III, you are gravely mistaken.

Marcoliboar: can you update post #1?
Ket: He uses weary, so he should be able to make Grima work most of the times.

Baruk Khazad and Slaked Thirsts say that Grima won't work against [Dwarven]. He's not particularly helpful against anyone else, except maybe Knights and Gondor Bow or a stacked Gandalf (who has access to Terrible and Evil).

Most Dwarf deck I see on GCCG don't use Baruk Khazad and Slaked thirsts, they are just big skirmish winning dwarves.

Slaked Thirsts on Preparations is pretty commonplace. I have been using that combination for years in my [Dwarven] deck (which, by the way, does not exceed two free peoples cards borne by each companion).
I have seen others use it as well.

the bottom line is that grima is not an uruk tracker. so he can't take advantage of the key cards in the deck. plus vengeance eclipses his ability and strikes at the heart of the deck by instead of removing the freeps cards, exploiting them for major pumps. say you are skirmishing gorn with his bow, his sword, saga of elindil and a search card. one vengeance means a free +8. grima would strip that away.
but whatever, its your deck, playtest and see what works best.

:gp: for macheteman. Eloquently put.
Also, first :gp: given out by me in a while. I think I've been too busy returning crappy over-sized holiday sweaters to give gifts myself!
