Title: Can't Get Back on GCCG

I was in the middle of a game when the battery on my computer died (didn't realize I was unplugged) and now I cant get back into GCCG.  Every time I try to connect, the connection fails.  Anyone know what I can do to get back on?

Try this: Make a backup copy of the directory C:\.gccg. Then, delete everything in the original directory except the files username and password.

On second thought, I think the GCCG server is having issues. This happened the other day... people who were in, stayed in, but nobody else could get on. So I just quit out and... guess what? Doesn't work. I guess we can wait it out? ???

Tried what you said.  Now the folder has the files again.  I guess when I tried to get back on, they reloaded or something.  Is there a way to get it back to the way it was originally?  If I delete all the new stuff, then copy the old stuff back, will that make a problem?

Open up command prompt and type:

ping gccg.servebeer.com

If no response, the server is down.

hmm if everyone who is one gets off I think the server will reset... thats just my theory

my second theory says that we should all get a life and stop worrying about trivial things like LotR online while there is still crises in Haiti

ok well I didn't know that. When our wireless was having issues the tech guy told us all to disconnect and then it would reset... hence my assumption. Someone just PM wlk...

My GCCG isn't working at the moment. Anyone else having trouble logging in right now? I've updated everything and it isnt working.
