Title: A Really useful card!!!
Post by: Mager on February 01, 2010, 01:13:14 AM
[gondor] (4) * Aragorn, Son of Denethor
Companion * Man
Strength: 7
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 6
Knight. To play, exert Denethor twice.
At the start of each of your fellowship phase,
you may exert Aragorn twice to discard a card from hand and heal Denethor.
While skirmishing a fierce minion, Aragorn is strength +3 if you can spot Denethor.
"He is not merely a ranger... He is Aragorn ,son of Denethor, the Heir of Gondor!!"

Aragorn is not the son of Denethor. He is the son of Arathorn. Boromir and Faramir are the sons of Denethor.

I can't tell if "son" is used symbolically, or if it's a joke, or if  you just don't get the storyline.

*Joke*

You know, in the book, they always say: " I am ..., son of ..." so that would be pretty funny :
Legolas: "He is Aragorn, Son of Denthor, the Heir of Gondor!"
Boromir: "WtF?!?"

Yes, that much I had gotten, not following how the card was useful.
