Here we have the cultureless companions. These fellows are not from middle earth, but their journeys have finally lead them here. They feature the unloaded keyword wanderer to indicate they are not from around these parts.

Companion • Man
Strength: 8
Vitality: 3
Resistence: 7
Wanderer.
Each minion skirmishing Madmartigan is strength -1 for each possession he bears.

Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be a Wanderer companion. If bearer is Madmartigan he is Damage +1.
[1] •Willow, Great Sorcerer
Companion • Hobbit
Strength: 3
Vitality: 4
Resistence: 8
Wanderer.
Each time a card is played which spots a wizard, you may spot Willow instead.
I'm the greatest Sorcerer!

Possession • Armor
Vitality: +1
Bearer must be a Wanderer Man. If bearer is Madmartigan, he may take no more than one wound during each skirmish phase.

Archer. Ranger. Wanderer.
Each time the Fellowship moves during the regroup phase, you may add 2 threats to remove [4].
Robs from the rich and gives to the poor.
[2] Oak Longbow, Sturdy Weapon
Possession • Ranged Weapon
Bearer must be a Wanderer man. If bearer is Robin Hood, he is Strength +1.
Archery: Discard two cards from hand to exert a minion.

Wanderer.
While Link bears a weapon, he is Strength +3.
And for goodness sake, don't touch anything!
[2] •Zelda, Regal Bearer
Companion • Elf
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Ring-Resistence: 6
Wanderer.
While Zelda is the Ring-Bearer, at the start of each skirmish involving her, you must add 2 burdens or discard 3 cards from hand.

Also, to the point of the actual Zelda series, the Princess would strike me as being someone having the highest resistance possible as she resists absolute evil countless times and sacrifices herself for the good of Hyrule (and everywhere else) until Link can get off his #$&*@! and rescue her.
Also, with an Elven Sword, Link is a strength 9 companion. Is that how you meant it? What about having a "Young Link" and "Adult Link" characters? You can also do "Minish Link" and "Werewolf Link" and "Deku Link" and "Goron Link..."

@ Lurtz: yeah, I was trying to keep in line with the whole triforce: wisdom, courage, and power. The only defense I have is that 18R59, 1R89 and 14R9 all have the same subtitles.
@ Ket: Your prose was still funny. You're right about zelda's resistence, however, much like Sam, who suffers a -5 penalty to resistence when bearing the ring, her near umlimited reserve runs dry at the touch of the Ring of Power (I made that up on the spot). Also, Link is supposed to be tough. Here is another one.

The idea behind this fellow is that he is bearing the Master Sword.
