I noticed on rubbercarp's card site www.ccg-singles.com that the only card I noticed for 20 measly cents was poor Betrayal of Isengard from ROTEL. Now I thought this card had some usefulness to it. For one, it helps inhibit swarms that work off of card drawing and secondly, it's a nice counter to Saruman Rabble-Rouser and/or Saruman Servant of the Eye. Can anybody tell me why this card ain't gettin' no respect here?

Because it is only worth $.20? It's a nice card, but it is extremely meta-specific so it won't find play in many decks. It's strongest suits are against [Moria], [Isengard], and Saruman.
Personally, I would never run it in a deck unless I specifically knew my opponent would be playing [Moria], [Isengard], and/or Saruman and felt that I needed it.
Frankly, however, there are better cards that fit into decks. Do I still have any? You can have them if I do.

Please don't take my prices to say how useful a card is. Sure it plays a part, but for me it also comes down to how many copies of a card I have.
That just happens to be a card that I have a bunch of, more than some common and uncommons. =)
That said, I don't think I've EVER put this card in a deck =)

I try to put one copy of Betrayal of Isengard in every FOTR Block deck using Gandalf. I find it extremely useful. However, outside of FOTR Block, it isn't very effective... maybe it could be decent in Tower Standard.

Unfortunately, I find that most Uruk decks in Fellowship Block also run Saruman's Power to deal with counters like these.
I actually found Foul Creation to be much more effective because it's less useful for Isengard decks to run cards like No Business of Ours to counter it.

I run No Business of Ours in every [Isengard] deck I have in Fellowship block. Mostly because of Sting, actually.

Sting doesn't bother me too much if I'm playing an Uruk deck. I mean yeah, it sucks to have them look at your hand every turn, but Uruks were so good back then that they could know what you had in your hand and still have a hard time stopping it.
Now if you're playing IsenOrcs, then NBoO is effing mandatory. :)

I do run Betrayel of Isengard in my FotR decks as well, and it has been very useful in the past. It is a great card, no doubt about it.

If you want to depict older versions of the card, use asterisks. Example:
