I usually don't use Hillman Horde. I use Hill Chief for extra drawing. Each has their advantages.

Of course, it goes without saying that I give my stamp of approval to anything that c10ckw0rk says. I consider him a pretty intuitive and creative deck builder.

Yeah, Hill Chief is a nice option as well. You can remove a Hillman Horde to add one if you want to. However, the Horde is nice vs archery decks which are a pain in the #$&*@! for Dunland. On the other hand, Hill Chief will be useful vs more deck types.

Well, since I only have one Hillman horde, hill chief will find it's place in the deck. Thanks for your advices.

If you don't have 4 Hides, you can use Bound by Rage.

I play this deck occassionally. The strategy is to just try and get one site and then stack as many minions as possible to set up for a swarm around site 7 or 8. It works pretty well most of the time.

Saruman, Rabble Rouser X 3
Hides X 4
War Club X 4
Burn every village X 4
Over the Isen
Constantly threatening
Ulaire Enquea X 2
Wulf, Dunlending Chieftain X 2
Hillman Horde X 2
Hillman Tribe X 4
Dunlending looter X 4
Hillman Rabble x3

I have a Dunland Site Control deck for Movie block and it seems to be really weak... Do dunlendings just stink or am I missing something?? I built the deck because I really like dunland guys and think they are pretty cool and I love beating someone with dunlands . :P

No, Movieis just another Format. Maybe your Deck isn´t the bset, but there are lots of more possibilitis, thus Decktypes in Movie. And there? a lot of wounding stuff going on...

Pepin had some great Dunland decks, maybe he could help you if he reads this. But keep in mind that LOTRTCG isn't only about the deck, it's also about the player's ability to make good decisions.

I think I am playing them right.... I guess what I am asking is can they ever be a top tier deck? Thanks.

I think they can be. They aren't damaged by Slaked Thirsts and Over the Isen ruins Cirdan.

Do you think over the Isen is worth playing? I don't run any copies in my deck.

WOW! Indeed! It is one of the best card you can use. Play Freca, take control of the site, then assign him to a weak companion to make sure it survives until the regroup phase. It is also very nice with Dunlending Elder and War Club.

yeah, but those Decks with slaked thirsts usually have Aragorn's bow and Greenleaf, as well as Brooding on Tomorrow and Roll of Thunder to kill Hides and Bound by Rage. No way...

I don't think too many of the Rainbow wounding decks actually run [Gandalf] splash. Unless you want that deck to be about 50 cards.

They would have a copy or two of Blood Runs Chill.

Well, as Initiative manipulation is a very nice theme in Rainbow wounding (Hardy Garrison, Fearless Marksman etc.), I often pack in a Brooding on Tomorrow. Prancing Pony Proprietor can grab Roll of Thunder (usually one copy, depending on the Meta) or Terrible and Evil. And terrible and Evil really is a card I need (Shotgun Enquea protection ftw!), but others may see it otherwise.
