If I'm reading this right, aside from gathering data, this massive thinggummy is the first step in creating a hyperdrive (ie, windows into higher dimensions....)

Assuming that we don't destroy the planet first....

Yikes. that's a lot of data. I mean, wow.

And just think about how much energy this thing's gonna use up. How in sam-hill are we gonna run the thing? Ethanol? (rofl)

Ah, whatever. Any thoughts on our potential impending global doom?

Ah this is the thing Dan -huge fantasy- Brown has mentioned in his book the Bernini Mystery....We'll see...if it indeed destroys earth, it will be spectaculair I guess :D
