This is a deck my brother ran for a little bit. It isn't perfect but it has worked out alright in the few times he has tested it. I am using an old file for it...I know he has used a similar version with a few variations on GCCG.
Starting:
Boromir, Bearer of Council with The One Ring, Answer to All Riddles
Eowyn, Lady of Ithilien
Eomer, Rohirrim Captain
Free Peoples (33):
Aragorn, Elessar Telcontar x3
Merry, Swordthain x3
Sam, Son of Hamfast
Aldor, Soldier of Edoras
Leowyn
Deor
Aragorn's Bow x2
Blade of Gondor
Firefoot
Brego
Rohirrim Javelin x4
Rohirrim Bow x2
Gondor Bowmen x4
Fortress Never Fallen x2
Might of Numenor x4
Something a little different. Certainly Legolas, Greenleaf wouldn't be out of question as an addition. I mostly posted this for putridbreath, but general thoughts?

I like this idea, but alas, I'm missing 20 cards needed to replicate it :P
-
Since you have the ability with Eomer to ditch a few cards, I guess Hardy Garrison wouldn't misfit.
-
Holy #$&*@!, Heije. That's a perfect card to try to fit in there.
Like I said, it's not my deck, but I like any suggestions that make decks better. It may be a little low on companions, but it seems to do pretty well unless you run into High Vantage or Berserk Butcher and the like.
He pairs it with a Shadow assignment control side. It hasn't been as successful yet, but maybe I'll post that and we can all work together to make that something that works.

I would probably just go with third marshall of the riddermark, eowyn can take care of herself in a fight. Eowyn's sword, dernhelm's blade would be a nice addition with charged headlong to complement it.
-
Ah, I believe there is a copy or maybe two of Eowyn's Sword, Dernhelm's Blade in there...
I'll be honest in that I was largely going by memory when posting this. Charged Headlong doesn't really help unless you have several copies of Eowyn's Sword, Dernhelm's Blade in the discard pile, although I guess you could retrieve some of the Rohirrim Javelin.

Yeah, why did I overlook the blade? Makes sense....and I like the idea of charged headlong, maybe not in this deck, but in a deck of mine...mmmm
-
Boromir's sword would pair well with a ranger's bow. He could finish off any exhausted man, orc or uruk-hai.
-
Again, people are thinking outside the box. I never thought of putting a Ranger's Bow on Boromir, Bearer of Council but that is a very cool idea.
I should post more #$&*@! because it brings out the best in you guys!

Blade of Gondor would probably be better than Ranger's Bow on Boromir. I think Isildur would be a better RB anyway.
Rohirrim Guard and Hary Garrison are a must.
-
You don't have to choose between the two. And the whole point of the bow is that it works on enemies that the blade doesn't work on.
-
Rohirrim Guard fits the theme but then I would likely trade out Eomer, Rohirrim Captain for Eomer, Third Marshal of Riddermark.
Can't have too much discarding, it seems. Hardy Garrison and Eowyn, Lady of Ithilien should mop up any mess before Rohirrim Guard gets into trouble.
Edit:Still...a significant lack of maneuver wounding to avoid Shotgun Enquea and Southron Veterans...

well, mortal men if y ou need more post-maneuver wounding
