When watching the LOTR movies does anybody else shout out card names when you see the screenshot appear?
;D
-
I don't shout, no. But, certain scenes do remind of their cards.
-
yeah, kinda, only i don't shout

yup :)

ha, that could be a good game...see who could name the most cards from the scene they're taken from. The hard ones are the ones that are zoom-ins or that used the pre-post images.
-
I definitely think about the cards, and sometimes say names out loud depending on the people I'm with!
-
i think to myself, wow, they used almost every frame from the film. i sometimes think to myself it would be neat to organize my cards by the movie chronology. that way if I were to flip through my cards real fast, it would be like watching the movie and gaming at the same time
-
like how all the smeagol/gollum cards in return of the king are from basically one scene? (See nasty and never)

I actually did this when I had less cards, but I have too many now to even consider that.
-
There are still many cool shots they never used in cards.
For example, um, this guy:

or this cool Theoden

Actually the most cool shots would be from the extended edition of TT, where they show how they made smeagol/Gollum. On some point his eyes are bouncing to everywhere. That would have been a funny card, don't you think? :)
-
I think that Theoden was used on a nazgul card. :-k
-
you sure? No way :) Well on the other hand he's ugly enough for it :D
-
What? LOL
Well, tis would have made for a good Gamling

Augh! Nostils and eyebags on that Gamling!
Back to the original topic, I don't shout out the cards, but I do often think of what strategies they are using in the movies, such as Aragorn Tank when he's fighting the Nazgul or ninja Gollum when he comes up behind Sam with a rock.
-
Do I see some flees jumping out of Gamlings hair :D

He looks like Stephen Lang.
-
LOL he does! But the colours on that pic, and the "dynamism", if you will, make for an awesome card picture.
-
Back to topic, one of the cards I'm thinking very often is Furor. It was one of my first cards and as I watch the movies pretty often, this one was always one of the most pregnant shots from the movie.
