Title: Knights of his House question
Post by: Silver on April 10, 2010, 01:56:06 PM
In the Knights of his House card, does the target (shadow) player get to choose whether to remove a shadow token or place a random (you choose a card from his hand, with the cards' backs facing you) card from his hand beneath his/her draw deck, or do you choose which of these two actions he must take?

Whenever a card says that an opponent must do something, the opponent chooses what to do. Otherwise, it would just say:
"For each mounted companion you spot, remove [1] or place a random card from an opponent's hand beneath his or her draw deck. "

Sorry for necro. What if there are no shadow tokens?
The same question for "His Golden Shield".

If there's no twilight to remove, then they have no choice but to take the other option.
