does the fellowship ability do anything special?
-
The Fellowship keyword is an unloaded keyword. In other words, there are no inherent rules associated with it. It is simply there to spot and use. Decipher threw it in there at the last minute to show the union of the Fellowship or something.
If you take a quick look through the rest of Ages End, you'll see some cards that spot and use that keyword.

I think there are just three: Strength in my blood, That's Two! and Rabbit Stew

and rabbit stew only works on 4 companions, good job D

Yes. They definitely could have capitalized on the keyword a little more. That's for sure.
I'm guessing they just threw it in for a little added excitement. More or less for kicks.

Actually, there was just one guy who designed sets 18 and 19, so I don't think he planned much anyway...

actaully, once a fellowship shire comp wins a skirmish, you can transfer rabbit stew to any fellowship companion. But don't get too excited, it isn't that great.
here is a link where i asked a question about the same condition.
