Title: Question about cards saying "at the start..."
Post by: LoveMeAndDespair on May 16, 2010, 12:49:22 AM
This might sound like a dumb question, but there was some debate about it while playing today and we weren't sure what to do  #-o. When a card says "At the start...", like "at the start of your turn" or "at the start of the shadow phase", then is that something you can do more than once, or only once? For example, Barazinbar - can you use that text to play more than one possession, or just one?

Just one.

'At the start of' happens once per phase. Eg. The Prancing Pony.

however, if you have multiple cards which say "at the start of..." you can choose the order in which they resolve.  I remember the case, but i had a deck that abused that.  it was something like "at the start of your fellowship phase exert someone to do something" and then with KiE I was able to heal them... i can't remember.  It must have been and elven discard deck or something...
