I'm curious about the effect text of Watcher in the Water, Keeper of Westgate. If at a marsh, can he bear a possession?
-
If not at a marsh there is no Watcher he gets discarded. So no he can't bear a possession.
-
No, it can't bear possessions even at a marsh (basically: this minion may not bear possessions + this minion is discarded if not at a marsh).
-
And what would that possesion look like? A mechanic tentacle? ;)

A trident. ;)
-
If the Balrog gets a toothpick, the Watcher deserves a spork.
-
But then I play my calamary sauce!
-
If it could bear a possession, Goblin Spear could work. But since it can't, it doesn't matter.
-
Didn't think about that one! I'd say a Goblin would be a better weapon for the Watcher than just a spear, but that's a matter of opinion. ;)
-
Ha!
I never realized that the Balrog can bear a Goblin Spear!
That's great!
Hmm, maybe it's time for that Balrog corruption deck I've always dreamed of =)
-
I say: Hobbit Stealth in FotR Block, Mablung and Ancient Roads in Movie...
-
*lol* Goblin Spear = Balrog's toothpick, though I didn't come up with that. ;)
-
But Whip of Many Thongs is so much better! Especially Weapon of Flame and Shadow plus The Balrog, Terror of Flame and Shadow....
But maybe you were just joking about the toothpick....
