Title: gandalf staffs

Gandalf can equip two different kinds of staffs: a possession - staff and an artifact - staff.

could he use both at the same time (since one is a possession and one is an artifact) ?  or can he only have one or the other equipped at a time ?

thanks in advance for any help.

Only one staff per wizard. Possession or artifact you can't use both staves on the same companion.

think of it this way, aragorn can't equip a possession hand weapon and artifact handweapon IE Ranger's Sword and Anduril.  Heck, we aren't playing D&D here. Monkey Grip  :lol:

Straight from the Rulebook:

"Class
Each character may bear one possession or artifact of each class at one time. For example, a character may bear only one hand weapon, only one ranged weapon, only one armor, only one cloak, and only one staff.
Some possessions and artifacts do not have a class. There is no limit to the number of cards without a class that a character may bear."

I hate to be the thorn in your side here, but Aragorn, if I'm not mistaken, is the only character who can bear both a hand weapon (possession) and a hand weapon (artifact). Sorry.

Example:  (Anduril, King's Blade or Anduril, Sword That Was Broken) & Knife of the Galadhrim.

But only with certain cards, not like Ranger's sword and King's Blade. ONly Knife of the Galadhirm and Flaming Brand are valiable.

I think this crossfire has left me in the dust, but it seems OneFathom's HW-artifact/HW-possession trivia still stands... though artifact/artifact is a nice touch.

Please, can I add one more TJ :D, just because I know?....

Morgul Blade and Nazgul Sword (any nazgul handweapon will do as well as another Morgul Blade)
