Post by: Snazzy on May 29, 2010, 07:42:04 AM
I re-made my Threat-Powered Hobbits with Power Nazzies!  =D> =D> The strategy is to have Merry add threats and Gorn remove them. I made the deck as small as possible in hopes I get Gorn in my first hand. It's a %56.14035087719 chance I do. Here's the list:

PM me. I have dozens of them. Same as Morgul Blade and tons of Nazgul Rares.

Rather than Sam, Great Elf Warrior, why not start Gandalf, Leader of Men? You could have quite a bit of fun with Light the Beacons (strong Hobbits!) and Citadel to Gate.

I almost like that better than the Aragorn stuff. And by "almost" I mean I do.

i agree kind with what your saying,...but on the other have every single one of my decks would destroy this deck, you really need to rethink your strategy.

Perhaps it would be prudent to help him with strategy, rather than laud your own decks.

Ket, I disagree. Citadel to Gate is an event, so it only works once. Gorn, would only work 3 times, however. I do need more Gondor healing.

Even if you were going to stick with Aragorn, why aren't you using Anduril, Flame of the West? That will provide some extra vitality. You already have Merry to add threats.

if you do that Anduril you cant his bow

Okay guys, seriously? In his defense I would have to point out that this is a real life deck and that the group of people around here don't have the best decks AND! that he has very limited access to trading with other people via mail. If you want to help him look at his list and see if you can trade him the cards you are saying that he needs. =D>

He does have a trading list. ;)

If you do his bow, you are less likely to be able to exert him to remove threats.

i said that as an example, he is packing a gondor bow and hand weapon for gorn.

I don't like Flame of the West, and if I didn't use it, I could use Ranger's Cloak and/or Narsil.

Aragorn can bear Flame of the West and Ranger's Cloak. I don't see the problem there.
-wtk

if you were to do the new anduril, rangers cloak, and then his first bow that would work better with 5 archery and you get to choose.

I forgot Flame of the West's text, thinking that Gorn could have no other possessions. I guess it would work.

I would also use four A Promise to max out their strength.
