Title: Just a little insignificant question...
Post by: Yanko Markovic on May 29, 2010, 10:26:49 PM
The thing is that I'm making a LOTR sketchbook at the moment, using stills and pictures I like from the films. The problem is, I like Eomer, Forthwith Banished's picture A LOT, but I can't seem to find it in the film. The pic seems to be from the Riders of Rohan scene when they meet the three hunters, but I just can't find it, and I really need a bigger picture to make a sketch. Please, does anyone know from which movie or scene was the pic taken from? I'd really appreciate an answer...

"Saruman has poisoned the mind of the King and claimed Lordship over these lands."

That would be my guess, although I only own the extended editions, and have not seen the theatrical cut for a long time. Also I'm not sure if that particular scene is even changed in the extended edition anyway.

When watching the extra behind the scenes stuff I remember this scene, maybe this image is from one of those, but it is definately from the first meeting with Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli.

Maybe it is when he says: "Not even his own kin." just after removing his helm.

Well, just so you know, I watched the scene in both the theatrical and extended versions, and that frame wasn't there. Very strange, if you ask me. I wish I could find it!

No. In that scene it was raining, and he has his helmet off all the scene long. Heck, I've even seen this wallpaper
(http://www.allmoviephoto.com/photo/2002_the_lord_of_the_rings_the_two_towers_wallpaper_023_big.html (http://www.allmoviephoto.com/photo/2002_the_lord_of_the_rings_the_two_towers_wallpaper_023_big.html)) where there is a little image in the middle left that is clearly from the very same take, but I can't find it in the movie.

EDIT: OK, so I searched the Internet and found out where it is from. It's from a FOTR DVD Behinf the scenes preview of The Two Towers. Now I have to find that clip...
