I'll try a pure hobbit deck which will generate some burdens. In your opinion, whcih are the most effective hobbit burden removal cards (Sam, Son of Hamfast excluded)?

Here's some of my favorites:
Bilbo, Aged Ring-bearer
Sting, Weapon of Heritage
Good Work
Golden Perch Ale
Home and Hearth (if you play hobbits that return to your hand -- like Pippin)
-
I don't think this belongs in Archives of Minas Tirith (Lothlorien maybe), but I'll leave that to admins.
As for burden removals, depends on the type of deck you are trying to build.
You have a choice from these (I am talking within movie format):
Good Work if your hobbits are going to win skirmishes
Slow-Kindled Courage if your Merry or Pippin will be strong and won't discard themselves.
A light in his mind and Tom Bombadil's Hat (both are very good)
Brace of Coneys is as simple as it gets and is even better if you run Frodo, RA
Extraordinary Resilience and Sorry About Everything can work good with Shire Countryside to make a combo of burden removal/healing.
And of course, Impatient and Angry is a great event for Sam, especially for Great Elf Warrior and NFFATROD is a great and versatile event.
There are also allies: Melilot Brandybuck is great with Old Bilbo's Heir and Tom Bombadil can remove 2 burdens when played and cancels skirmishes (although he is a bit expensive).
It now depends on the type of deck you are going to build to choose burden removals.

Thx guys, this was very helpful. It seems I have a lot of options :)

Favorite dedicated burden removal is multiple copies of Home and Hearth in combination with bouncing Hobbits and/or Hobbit allies.

Bouncing Hobbits + Home and Hearth is the only way to go.  You can also use Make Haste if you run our of hobbits to bounce.
