Title: Should I stay or should I go? Looking for expert tips on single/dbl/triple moves
Post by: putridbreath on June 15, 2010, 10:47:32 PM
Hey all,

I understand many aspects of the game much better since joining TLHH--I can figure out matchups, situational strategies for skirmish phases, how to build successful decks, etc. But I'm interested in expert advice on moving the fellowship. When should you stay or move to the next site? What tips you off that going to the next site would be advantageous or catastrophic? How many cards should be in hand? How many minions left on the table, twilight in the pool etc?

I find myself playing pretty conservatively--only double moving when I see a very clear advantage.
Can anyone provide some situational tips for moving versus staying--things that affect your decision making?
Thanks.

That all depends on a number of things. If your opponent has just dumped his hand on you and cannot cycle, and you managed to survive, and kill most of the minions, chances are he wont be able to reset his hand for a decent push.

However, you need to consider how they cycle, whether they can pull cards from discard or draw, and lacking site control where you are likely to be moving to.
