Due to the suggestions of some people in my wounding hobbits thread, I decided to make a Rainbow Wounding deck for Movie Block. It's my first rainbow deck, so I need help.
Gimli, Bearer of Grudges
The One Ring, Answer To All Riddles
Legolas, Dauntless Hunter
Merry, Swordthain
Pippin, Wearer of Black and Silver
Eowyn, Lady of Ithilien x2
Aragorn, Elessar Telcontar x3
Grimir, Dwarven Elder
Gimli's Battle Axe, Trusted Weapon
Aragorn's Bow
Ranger's Sword
Knife of the Galadhrim
Rohirrim Javelin x2
Quick As May Be x4
Slaked Thirsts x4
Unheeded x3
Preparations x3
Shadowplay x4
There's my deck. I made it very quickly, but I don't know what else to do so I just posted it here to get some opinions.
Strategy is the typical Rainbow Wounding with Slaked Thirsts. Wanted to add Splendor of Their Banners, maybe PATHS. Gondor Bowmen is a little bit expensive, but I know everyone will tell me to add it. Same with Double Shot.
So, any opinions?

I'm more a fan of Hardy Garrison and Rohirrim Guard myself.

Hhhmmm, yeah, that sound good. But then I'd had to add another Gondor guy and a couple Rihirrim Guard to use Hardy Garrison. And I don't know what to take out for them.

I was thinking something like this:
Starting:
Gimli, Bearer of Grudges with The One Ring, Answer to All Riddles
Legolas, Dauntless Hunter
Merry, Friend to Sam
Pippin, Wearer of Black and Silver
Free Peoples (42):
Aragorn, Elessar Telcontar x3
Eowyn, Lady of Ithilien x3
Faramir, Son of Denethor
Elrond, Herald to Gil-Galad
Aragorn's Bow x2
Eowyn's Sword, Dernhelm's Blade x2
Hobbit Sword
Ring of Fury
Gimli's Battle Axe, Trusted Weapon
Brego
Preparations x3
Shadowplay x3
Gondor Bowmen x4
Shake Off the Shadow
Slaked Thirsts x3
Unheeded x3
Quick As May Be x3
Might of Numenor x3
Something like that would be fairly successful with a quick-filtering shadow like Moria or Corsairs.

It is too big. Sure, a cycling shadow would help, but I still think it's too... busy. A simpler strategy would be better with a few card combos to wound minions. It doesnt have to be 42 cards big.

There are actually very few card combinations. You could drop one or two Preparations if you are willing to bid high enough to guarantee going first (Dunharrow Plateau) but you absolutely need Preparations early to protect you from Grima, Chief Counselor.
Every card that is in that deck is there for a reason. You could probably live without Elrond, Herald to Gil-Galad, but why would you want to? Extra healing is always fantastic.
I've played this deck before. I've played against this deck before. There is a reason people play it...it absolutely works. 12 of the 42 cards are events, so the deck works.

MuadDib has a very similar deck. Jerba played one. I think theJord has one.
Personally, I find the Shadowplay and Unheeded combination to be kind of lame, but like I said, people play it because it absolutely works.

Leowyn is awesome any Lady of Ithilien deck. I personally don't run preparations as Chief Counselor doesn't appear very often.
It is also a choice between Wingfoot and Elessar Telcontar, Greenleaf and Dauntless Hunter, Swordthain and Friend To Sam.
I would add Leowyn, Dernhelm's Blade and Brego. Gimli maybe needs more protection like Ring of Fury, Gimli's Helm maybe a Hand Axe, Dwarven Armor etc..
