Title: Stacking Isengard Orcs
Post by: Tbiesty on June 22, 2010, 10:45:46 AM
I need a clarification on the following cards relating to Isengard Orcs:

Gnawing, Biting, Hacking, Burning
Iron Fist of the Orc
Scaffolding

I've long assumed that the "Each time a regroup action discards an [ISENGARD] Orc, you may stack that Orc on this card." really means "Each time a regroup action discards an [ISENGARD] Orc from play, you may stack that Orc on this card." That's the way I've always played it.

Otherwise, cards like Isengard Tender could use their action and just stack right back on one of these cards.

Yes, it's as you think--the default meaning of "discard" is to discard from play.
