Peter Jackson in negotiations for "The Hobbit" (http://hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2010/06/25/peter-jackson-in-negotiations-for-the-hobbit/?hpt=C2)... Will it ever be?

The best case scenario would be one in 2012, where the PC is already set up. The Hobbit movies are then released, which prompts Decipher to start a Hobbit TCG. As a result of The Hobbit TCG, people will want to play LOTR TCG as well and thus come flocking to the PC.
Best case scenario! :D

It seems, as if Peter Jackson is now the director for the hobbit - eventually!

That's good news, as long as he makes it a The Lord of the Rings and not a King Kong :)

What's that supposed to mean?

:-?
It means I think that Peter Jackson did a great job directing The Lord of the Rings and a poor job directing King Kong, and that I hope he does a great job directing The Hobbit.

It always seemed inevitable that PJ would wind up directing The Hobbit.
Kev-La: King Kong was awesome, he did a great job. The start drags on a bit, but it has too..

This is where our opinions differ, I suppose. I think it's a big pile of steaming gorilla poo...

lol, me thinks the opposite; the beginning is lovely, you feel like tis movie was made in the early 80s or something like that.
but consider this opinion under the circumstance that it's from a 17 years old guy who watches LotR, Star Wars, RWJ and Kurusawa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akira_Kurosawa). ;)

Is the Hobbit ever going to be finished? Seems like the answer is yes, albeit....about a decade later? Sigh.
