I was just wishing for some clarification here. I know that when the Free People's player reconciles, all minions are discarded. However, does that apply to unique minions and minions with subtitles (such as Lurtz, or a Nazgul). It just seems that since in the Fellowship, you can discard unique companions to heal them, so it makes me wonder if that applies to minions. Thanks.

You cannot discard a copy of a unique minion to heal a unique minion.
When the free people's player reconciles and ends the turn, that is when minions are discarded.

If the Freeps declares they are no longer moving but do not discard or draw any cards during reconcile have they technically reconciled? Would it then be too late to activate ring of rancor? Or is just entering that phase/step enough to be considered a reconcile even though no cards moved?
-
Reconciling happens for the Free Peoples player at the end of their turn, even if they have 8 cards and choose not to discard, they are considered reconciled.
You would be hard pressed to convince me that I cannot use Ring of Rancor because you have 8 cards and are therefore not reconciling.

Unless you're a Jedi because, well duh, you could make TheJord like, I dunno, believe all sorts of crazy stuff.

Lembas can allow Free Peoples player to reconcile without ending his turn and any leftover minions are discarded when the Free Peoples player declares end of his turn. I wonder if Ring of Rancor (or any other [Wraith] ring for that matter) can be used as a response to Lembas. I guess it can, although it's a rare situation when a Shadow Player would actually have any use of doing that.

I would do that if I had an exhausted twilight nazgul like the Witch King, LotN (and not enough other minions in my hand to play should they move again)! Get rid of them woooounds
