Title: Soloish Smeagol
Post by: Anautikus on July 11, 2010, 10:44:24 PM
I'm not sure if this has been done before, but I wanted to try this deck out see if it would be better than a normal solo Smeagol deck. Critique away!

Companions:
Smeagol, BoGS
The One Ring, The Ring of Rings
Frodo, Frenzied Fighter
Pippin, Hobbit of Some Intelligence

Possessions:
Sting, Baggins Heirloom x2
Fishing Boat x2

Conditions:
Poor Wretch x4
There's Another Way x4
Follow Smeagol
Nice Fish x2
Gladden Homestead
Don't Look at Them

Events:
Clever Hobbits
Naked Waste x4
Nasty x4
Still Far Ahead x2
Not Listening x2
Swear By the Precious x4
(36)

It's basically Smeagol and Frodo. Swear by the Precious is awesome, so I wanted to use it. Sting, Baggins Heirloom is nice too, and Frodo's ability isn't too bad itself.

The main problem is that I want to cut it down, but I really don't know what to take out, so that's what I was wanting your guys' help! Thanks in advance!

Typically Solo Smeagol + is played with Faramir, Son of Denethor. And occasionally the Pippin for a bid 1, but I find the extra twilight at the start of the game, plus the deck slot taken is typically not worth it.

The Faithful Stone > Swear By The Precious. XD

Hahah NB, what you do think the original deck was to begin with?

And The Faithful Stone is too broken for my group's taste. That, and I don't own one.
