I've never built nor played an Easterling Deck before, so here it comes:
Shadow (33):
2x Shotgun Enquea
4x Easterling Captain
4x Easterling Army
4x Easterling Axeman
1x Easterling Footman
1x Easterling Regiment
4x Easterling Polearm
3x Raider Bow
2x Ships of Great Draught
3x Small Hope
3x Red Wrath
2x Discovered
second version:
Shadow (35):
Shadow (33):
2x Shotgun Enquea
4x Easterling Captain
4x Easterling Army
4x Easterling Axeman
1x Easterling Footman
1x Easterling Regiment
4x Easterling Polearm
4x Raider Bow
2x Ships of Great Draught
4x Small Hope
3x Red Wrath
2x Discovered
the second version isn't too different than the other one, just with one more Small Hope and one more Raider Bow.

It looks good. How are you going to add the threats for Ships of Great Draught?
-
Same. Try Rallying call or just some plain war-towers.
-
The minion count seems low at 13... maybe get a couple more in there? I like to go with 2 copies of Easterling Footman; other minion suggestions are Easterling Pillager and Enquea LoM.
Personally I wouldn't worry about threats, and just add [Raider] tokens for Ships by using the discard option.
-
I agree with ES. You have 13 minions, most of which cost 5 or more. I guess you plan to play one minion a turn loaded with possessions and support events, but still you're going to get clogged. I would put in a fourth Easterling Axeman.
-
I don't Quite understand why you have Easterling captian and Army They wouldnt be able to utilize their power to the fullest if theirs only 2 burdens at all times and as for the bows; I can see you are trying to do a kind of Ambush Wounding them down with Red wrath but it seems to me with an easterling deck you should be more concerned about Corrupting the RB. Where is this deck I would Supply this army with Southron Ambush and some Fierce in Despair,Whirling Strike Mumaks for More Twilight for Nice Skirmishes such as Red Wrath. Because if i am not mistaken the only Twi Adds you have are those bows which leaves it up to chance pulling them
Fierce in Despair and youre Discovered will most likely only Discard one Condition instead of 2 So Rangers Riders of Rohan Knights With Fortification will have no problem Mowing them down because the Highest Str Minion is an 13

Same. Try Rallying call or just some plain war-towers.
Unsure what Rallying Call does in Easterling decks.
-
Too much support, not enough minions.

Uuumm... it has a cool pic? :P

2x Ulaire Enquea, Lieutenant of Morgul
3x Easterling Captain
3x Easterling Army
4x Easterling Guard
2x Easterling Pillager
2x Easterling Footman
Gollum, Stinker
3x Vision from Afar
2x Discovered
4x Captured By the Ring
2x Evil-Smelling Fens
2x Small Hope
4x Easterling Polearm
Should be good to go with that.

wow! I didn't expect so much feedback in here...
Well, the genreal idea of this Deck was adding two Burdens, then play an Easterling Captain or Easterling Army with a Easterling Polearm and a Raider Bow, best case when you have a Red Wrath in yuor hand, and then kill the comps off, one by one.
Ships of Great Draught are there to discard unneeded cards that clog your hand and get those back you desire. I often pull the Combo above 4 times a game, killing four comps.
I totally forgot about Shotgun Enquea... thanks guys, I'll ad that one!
Ket, as for your Deck, I neither like 2x Easterling Pillager, as you have enough (and better) crowd control with Shotgun Enquea nor that you put out an Easterling Captain... he's really the best minion Easterlings have, and beeing able to pull him at least nearly every turn can be terrible for your opponent. I'd drop a copy of Easterling Guard for the captain.
Updated the Deck above!

I took out an Easterling Captain; however, I put in a copy of Evil-Smelling Fens. To each, his own.

Lack of minions? Well i have to disagree with people. There are 2 guys that kill people in this deck and they are Easterling Army and Easterling Captain! The reason for that is with raider bow + polearm + red wrath you will take down companions pretty easy...
The guys that add burdens to unbound or discarding cards from hand can be useful too...
I don't use Enquea, i prefer War Towers to punish crowding cause it is very probable you will kill companions and you can recicle it via Ships of Great Draught, but that's me...
If you play Captain + bow + polearm and you don't face Roll of Thunder you can be sure you will cause some trouble to your oponnent. Red Wrath is to keep exerting folks like Cirdan at bay, and only the threat of the possibility to have it in hand sometimes makes your oponnent choose bad moves to not risk their best companions.
My Beasterling deck is pretty much 4 copies of all key cards and plus some minions to fill it up and usually it works nicely.
-
Your only burden adding cards say "if you cannot spot two burdens..." so you will likely not get above two burdens. Maybe Quelled would be a better choice than Discovered so in the off chance there's a Rohan comp, you can discard two conditions instead of one.
-
Possible, but with all those minions out, getting burdens with the one ring is usual for the opposing free people player. I can spot 3 burdens pretty often. And also, it isn't that important as not every Deck relies on many conditions. ;)
-
Easterling Skirmisher would be a better choice than Easterling Axeman.

The two-burden style works just fine, IMO, since that hits the key points (the Captain and Army provide strength bonuses, the Axeman becomes fierce and strength +3, and the Polearm blocks wounds). The burdens here are just a tool to get the beatdown to work.
Looking over the revised deck list, I would return Small Hope and Raider Bow to four copies (I'd always run four each of Easterling Captain, Easterling Polearm, Raider Bow, and Small Hope in this kind of build). Can't go wrong with Small Hope when it starts the party and keeps it going, and also doubles as a strength pump (option to conserve the pool). Raider Bow floods the pool for the Captain.
Also, a fun card to try is Bold Men and Grim--who would you like to discard today?

added second version.
