In response to my "House errata (Custom format)" thread in the Chamber of Mazarbul, more than one fellow forumite has suggested that Legolas ~ Greenleaf would work fine with his original text. I'm therefore considering removing his erratum.
I was wondering, does anyone know if he was X-listed at one point, around the time Mount Doom was released and before the release of Shadows? If so, did Decipher ever explain why it was X-listed, or why it was removed from the X-list?
Any help gratefully received :)

I'm not sure, he was actually allowed at Worlds when Mount Doom was released... I remember Sulligan having a Gondor-Elfie-Whelfies Deck with Greenleaf, Aiglos and the tale of Gil-Galad, so I don't think so.

I'm assuming "Worlds" was some sort of tournament, then? Hmm, that would certainly seem to suggest it was legal at the time... Thanks :gp:
Anyone else?

He was never banned. If he were, the uproar would have been impossible to miss.

Elessar is right. Greenleaf was never banned in the "Movie Era."

Thanks folks! If the other players in my group agree to it, I'll remove Greenleaf's erratum. In light of your responses above, I'm not sure why he ended up on there in the first place, unless there was a feeling among us at the time that he was overpowered ???
A :gp: for Elessar and a :gp: for Ket
