(0) •Frodo, Extraordinarily Resilient
Companion • Hobbit
Str: 3
Vit: 4
Resistence: 10
Ring-bound.
Response: If Frodo is wearing the One Ring, exert him twice to take off the One Ring.
...sigh, if only.

I know a better one:
•Frodo, Extraordinarily Overpowered
Companion • Hobbit
Str: 3'000
Vit: 4'000
Resistance: 10'000
Fellowship: Add a Burden to make the move Limit +1
I'd like to have this one even more than your version... but only if I'm the only one who owns him...

(0) •Frodo, Always Seeking Adventure [Shire]
Companion • Hobbit
Strength: 3
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 10
Ring-bearer. Ring-bound.
When the fellowship moves to any site 9, liberate each site (including sites you control), and the site number of each site becomes 10 - X, where X is its site number.
-
(0) Frodo, Army [Shire]
Companion • Hobbit
Strength 3
Vitality 4
Resistance 10
Ring-Bearer. Ring-bound.
The Rule of 9 does not apply.
Discard a Frodo from play to make another Frodo strength +3 until the regroup phase.
Boosh.

oh, those are great!

@Ket
To really break him, you'd have to make the rule of 4 and the rule of Ring-Bearer not apply as well ;)

Vit: 4
Resistence: 10
Ring-bound.
Response: Exert Frodo twice to take off the One Ring.

Nice! But what is it a Response to? Would it not have to read "Response: If Frodo is wearing the One Ring, exert him to take off the One Ring."?

(0) •Frodo, Nine-Fingered [Shire]
Companion • Hobbit
Strength: 8
Vitaliry: 2
Resistance: 5
Ring-bearer. Ring-bound
Whenever you discard a copy of Frodo to heal him, you may instead remove a burden.

I would never use him.

I most likely would, eventually, even if he's not a heavy favorite. He makes for decent strategy choices. I think, though, I'd give him 3-4 vitality, or maybe 10 strength.
-
With no way to recycle copies of Frodo (Fireworks comes to mind), you get three burdens.
I don't think I could ever use a companion with two vitality, let alone my Ring-Bearer.
Even at a 7-3 companion, he has little benefit over Isildur, Bearer of Heirlooms or Gimli, Bearer of Grudges.

0 •Frodo, One of Nine Shire
Companion-Hobbit
Strength: 3
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 10
Ring-Bearer. Ring-Bound.
The minion archery total is -1 for each companion you spot.
Fellowship: Exert Frodo to play a companion. Its twilight cost is -1 for each companion you can spot.
-
•Frodo, Enduring spirit
Companion • Hobbit
Strength: 2
Vitality: 5
Resistance: 10
Ring-bearer. Ring-bound.
Each time burden is added, exert Frodo.
Exert Frodo 3 times to remove a burden.
And this possesion :
•Frodo's chainlet for the ring (or just •Frodo's chainlet)
Culture: Shire
Twilight Cost: 1
Type: Possession
Resistance: +1
Game Text: Bearer must be Frodo. Discard this possession to put on The One Ring until the regroup phase and remove a burden.
At the start of each skirmish involving Frodo, you may exhaust him and discard this possession to put on The One Ring until the regroup phase, cancel a skirmish involving him and remove 2 burdens.

Companion • Hobbit
Strength: 3
Vitality: 4

I made this card about a year ago, or more.
You can now play with it (and the rest of my Light & Shadow block) on GCCG (http://lotrtcgdb.com/forums/index.php/topic,5124.msg59596.html#msg59596)...
Or download the cards and print them (http://lotrtcgdb.com/forums/index.php/topic,4075.msg53524.html#msg53524) for yourself...
8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

oh cool. Sorry, i was daunted by the number of the cards you made so i didn't rummage through them. But, it's nice to see someone other than myself thought of a Frodo who can remove the one ring he is wearing.
-
I love how these threads always degenerate into
'wouldnt teh card be more awesome if it was Chuck Norris and had infinite everything?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!!!!!1!! ZOMG'
-
I love how people have been bumping so many dead threads recently.
-
that a shout out....stop pruning everyone mods!!!
anyways, something related to the topic... yea, a chuck norris frodo would kick #$&*@!. literally. there'd be an event specifically designed for Frodo, Chuck Norris of the Shire.
Kick #$&*@!/ Roundhouse Kick
Shire Event
Maneuver: spot Frodo, Chuck Norris of the Shire. discard all minions and shadow conditions. or
Regroup: spot Frodo, Chuck Norris of the Shie. you can skip all sites and proceed directly to the skirmish phase of Site 9. yea, that's right. skip the shadow phase altogether....cause which minion would be dumb enough to face chuck norris?
-
The original draft of The Lord of the Rings included Chuck Norris as the ring-bearer, but the problem tolkien had in writing this version was that the book ended in 8 pages cause chuck norris ran to mt. doom and round house kicked Sauron then knocked over the tower of baradur. That, and the ring had no power over him. In fact, the one ring called C.Norris precious!
