What's the best way to heal Barliman Butterbur, Prancing Pony Proprietor without having multiple copies of him in your deck? I can't think of one for the life of me.
-
Master of Healing, but it's not a very good card.
-
Brego comes to mind, but why would you waste it on Barliman?!
In Towers Standard, Horse of Rohan at Westemnet Hills.

Haha thanks. I was thinking more along the lines of FotR, which leaves it at Master of Healing.

Is the reason you don't want multiple copies because you don't have them?
Extra copies of Barliman beats Master of Healing anyday.

Well, Master of Healing can be used to heal companions too, so it doesn't have to rot in hand if you already have a healed Barliman Butterbeer, but just 1 copy of Barliman lowers chances to get him early considerably.

Master of healing will rot in your hand if Elrond or your elf allies don't show up. Barliman will never rot in your hand because at worst you can use his text for no effect and then use the copy in hand to heal him. If healing companions is the goal I can think of better things than master of healing...
EDIT: hrcho, as you saw in the game we just played, 4x Barliman may have saved me... XD

This talk about Barliman rotting is making my stomach churn. Though I'd probably just add more copies as well; healing him won't depend on a two-card combo, and as hrcho said, it'd increase the chances of drawing him early.

Not that I don't have him, I was just trying to save card slots. But I guess either way eats them up.
