Yesterday, at 4.47 PM local time, I became a father to a soon-to-be beautiful girl (all babies are ugly immediately after birth).
I am terrified and extremely happy at the same time. I was present during birth and it was really something. Despite all the blood, gore, pain and screaming (I am sooo happy I'm not a woman) it was without any complications or problems and really seeing something coming to life unto this world... amazing.
Anyway, since TLHH became the most visited page in my history log (except maybe Google which is home site) I wanted to share this with you all.

congrats. I remember when my little boy was born. It was great. You will eventually get over being scared. There is no manual so you can't "raise them wrong" per se, there are of coures those universally wrong things, of which there is no point to mention here, but never theless congrats. However, I will have to disagree with you about just born babies being ugly. My boy was incredibly handsome and has grown cuter every day. maybe i'm just biased because he's my kid?

Congrats man! I haven't had kids of my own yet, but every newborn I've seen has looked like an alien.

We haven't yet decided upon a name, though we cut the list short to just a few.

She was PURPLE! I mean, real purple!
Also, I thought that was embarrassing until I looked at my most visited history log: Fantasy Baseball, ESPN, Facebook, porn*, Pandora, TLHH.

Well, internet has little or nothing in common with all my other hobbies and interests so I pretty much use computer for TLHH and GCCG and watching an occasional movie or two and I consider Facebook and such pure EVIL. In my vicinity, everyone has facebook profile so much so that if something isn't on Facebook, it didn't happen.
Do you mean Pandora Radio? I so wish they didn't limit themselves to (afak)US only.
Thx for the wishes... I think I'm gonna need everything I can muster. Especially since both me and my girlfriend (we don't like marriage) are still in college.

Ok, so my parents work at an orphanage, and my mom is always telling stories about how cute this baby is or how cute that baby is, so I've kind of decided that cuteness is a default setting for babies and it gets out of wack later in life, anyone else agree?

same here. The reason why I just hate facebook overall. as for interent, it's TLHH, CC (archive), youtube and wikipedia, also google to search sheet music are those I use.

Will do in the next few days. Have returned to my work today after a 7 week holiday :lol: and now my nights will be filled with endless computer sessions again :D. So hopefully I will see you again in the wonderful world of GCCG. Will try some new decks as well. ( I'm now on my wifes PC, she doesn't have GCCG....hence the absense now)
