Title: PC Website Update - Diary
Post by: Kenddrick on September 19, 2010, 06:20:56 AM
Hey guys,

Now that the PC's server is up and the website can be viewed, I'm going to post a mini diary on the updates whenever I debug it and fix broken links. I hope I can get the website done proper and broken-link-free!

Changes for 19/09/2010:

-Updated information at the download section for GCCG and Zorbec's Decklist Builder.
-Added new links under Decklist Block Selection for TTT, ROTK, Movie, Standard and Open. They don't contain anything...for now.
-Fixed a couple of random broken links.
-Reduced the high-res LotR: TCG logo to a low-res one.

Check out the changes at: http://www.lordoftheringspc.org/

Cheers,
Kenddrick

You ought to...

-Fix the title so that it doesn't say "Web Page Maker"
-Remove any generic junk, e.g. "Insert you content here."
-Remove the bottom copyright banner. Regardless of the program you used, YOU own the copyright, not "Web Page Maker." If you cannot get rid of the banner, find another program to help. Or learn HTML. :)

most links still lead to "Dwarven-Nazgul Fun" and "Favourite LOTR: TCG Combos for FoTR block". Is it just me, or if you try to read Thrands article "Shapes Slowly Advancing", you always get redirected to "Favourite LOTR: TCG Combos for FoTR block"?

It's meant to be that way until I get more articles in. Right now it's only 1 but soon soon! Work has already begun! :D

Something else you might consider doing it posting historical decks from the various world championships.  I know you can find many of them on decktech, and also using the internet archive to search old pages of dgma (I used that recently to look at the top 16 worlds decks from 2004).  If you are interested in doing this I could find some of the lists for you, just send me a pm.

Changes for 01/10/2010:

Lost all the changes done on 19/9/2010 due to a hard disk failure. Will try to recover data/make the same changes again.

Long live LotR: TCG PC!
