This looks like a Movie Block deck - is that correct?

If so, I suggest a mod move it to the MB subforum.

In any case, I like the deck!

Garrison of Gondor isn't Ring-bound.

(BOGS will ditch him).

Besides 4 cards its all Towers.
Which makes it movie block.

Sorry I meant Garrison of Osgiliath.

What's the point of 4x Garrison of Osgiliath? 1 is quite enough or 2 if you are really fond of the card, but more than that will be more trouble than worth. I suggest some heavy burden removal. Several copies of Sam, SoH would do fine. I am assuming you're using Smeagol, BoGS to use his ability to discard minions in regroup phase, because Isildur, BoH would be a much better choice as ring bearer. Using Smeagol's ability is self corruption without proper burden removal.

*Exception: Frodo, Frenzied Fighter

Er, I thought he was ring-bound.. It says Ring-bound on the card and I have used him previously with Smeagol, BOGS..

Yikes! My brother beat me with his Goblin swarm and I held them off until sight 7(died at site 8). The main reason I lost is because(well for one thing I got swarmed) but I couldn't get the Goblins to keep Roaming. Ahhhgggg!!!!!

Add more Ancient Roads. That is how you build decks. You play test them as much as you can against as many different decks as you can and you correct the mistakes. Losing is part of deck building, because losing will make you try build a better deck while winning will not.

add more ancient roads or gondorian ranger, it's fine to go to six companions, just put ithilien trap in there to give yourself a little shotgun enquea protection

Well I guess that would work.

Add more gondorian ranger or ancient roads.  You should have 2 of each or 4 of 1.  Ring-bound rangers travel in groups.  They suffer from Loud Ranger Syndrom (LRS), thus they'll add lots of twilight, but with new errand, arrows thick, and war and valor coupled with faramir's cloak, you should be able to stand against minions.
Some things you may to consider:
-Mablung
-Banner of Westernesse
-more bows
-drop garrison of osgiliath and replace it with bows, flags, and mablung
-add some sort of condition removal, a catapult or athelas
-you may want to use a gondor RB so minions assigned to your RB will be roaming.

Considering Sweetness 34 acts a lot like The New Guy, and post in similar ways, and since they both post from the SAME IP adress, I'm waiting for a reason as to why I shouldn´t just delete both posts talking about Man the Walls.

EDIT: Well well well, I guess I had my work cut out for me. Since it seems one of our Admins took action for The New Guy, between other things, basically telling me to shut up for actually doing what I'm supposed to do on the site, I just took the liberty do delete the ranting posts. Let's leave it at this and drop it.

Well, not sure what happened here, but on the subject of the deck:

I actually use both Ancient Roads and Man the Walls in my Gondor rangers deck (3x each). Why? I've had a few games where I am short one ranger and Ancient Roads' failure destroys me. Some games I've limped to Site 9 and a few Man the Walls + Gondorian Ranger is enough.

Not that I claim to be an expert, but it can be useful.

I always liked Hardy Garrison in decks where you're playing skirmish phase events.

Especially if you decide to pack Catapult.

I would put in Faramir, CoG and a bunch more Gondorian Ranger.  Anything that has to do with roaming minions would be helpful to.  Also I would drop the New Errand and replace it with Swordsman of the Northern Kingdom.

PS: Frenzied Fighter is from set 13 and isn't movie legal.

I'm actually a fan of New Errand, but I think you could try to run Madril, Faramir's Aide. He's not ring-bound, but hear me out. You can run the Ancient Roads engine, and Hardy Garrison and a bunch of New Errand. Now, if you use Madril's Ability with Hardy Garrison, that's almost an automatic KO, and New Errand triggers to drop other minions. If paired with Arrows Thick in the Air, just that much more fun.

He can't use Faramir's Aide with this ring-bearer, also he can't play Catapult without knights...

That's true. This was assuming that advice was taken on using a different ring-bearer.
