Did anyone else see leo messi's first goal against villareal today? I watched it on ESPN Deportivo and i remember thinking, "that goal defined their on-field relationship." if you didn't see it, it went messi-xavi-messi-xavi-messi-goal with xavi making two great passes and messi with a great finish." As a fan of all sports I love seeing two players connect on another level like messi and xavi do, to me it seems they are McCartney and Lennon of futbol, two geniuses who need each other. Without xavi, messi would not score near as much as he does (did you see him in the world cup?) and without messi, xavi wouldn't have anyone to finish off his incredible through passes (did you see spain in the world cup?). Anyone else agree/disagree?
