Since I heard we need more deck ideas, I decided to post this deck I made a few months ago and that I hadn't showed here:
Frodo, Resolute Hobbit (How I wish I could use BoO in this deck correctly!)
The One Ring, The Great Ring
Merry, In the Bloom of Health
Pippin, In the Bloom of Health
Farmer Maggot, Hobbit of the Marish
Quickbeam, Bregalad
Skinbark, Fladrif
Host of Fangorn
Ent Horde
Treebeard, Keeper of the Watchwood
Gwaihir, The Windlord
Alatar, Final Envoy
Meneldor, Misty Mountain Eagle
Pallando, Far-travelling One
Radagast, Tender of Beasts
Halfling Leaf x2
Hornblower Leaf x2
Ent Draught x4
Watch and Wait
Enraged x4
Strange Meeting x2
Boomed and Trumpeted x2
The Terror of His Coming x4
So here it is. Basically, start with the huge Ent fellowship and try to survive. Followers do a bunch of different and useful things. Conditions and events give strenght and vitality, The Terror of His Coming gets back your Enraged, and I even added a little pipeweed splash that can remove threats, protect the hobbits and even discard a couple of minions that keep making trouble.
The ideal pair for this FP would be a cycling shadow that keeps your hand fresh. I remember NB posted a good cycling shadow in one of his Spotlight articles I think, it used Gollum, Old Villain, Let Her Deal with Them, Chasm's Edge, Hides and stuff like that. I will try it and see how it works.
Let me know what you think.

I don't like ent draught because if it is discarded it could kill your characters, i would probably trade them out for more pipeweeds
-
Yes, Ent Draught can kill a companion if that companion was exhausted, but also if that companion didn't have Ent Draught it would be dead already if he/she received the same damage. I prefer to make my companions last a little bit more and wait for someone to discard the condition instead of killing them earlier.

the character could be Alice?
-
Ket, maybe it is my poor logic or my distraction with King Crimson as I read this, but I didn't quite understand what you just said. I mean, I can exert with extra vitality, that's true. What's the poor logic with that?
-
•Alice, and Well [2]
Companion • Woman
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
While you can spot Poor Logic, Alice gains extra vitality.
-
Wow, now Woman is a whole new different race from Man...
Maybe you can add "While Alice has extra vitality, you can exert her" or something like that.
-
Why don't you try it with BoO ?
I am running an ent deck with him... it's kinda tricky, but with hobbits, there's the more the merrier, I run Barliman, ease the burden, lots of duplicates, discard lots of conditions for using with treebeard... tis very interesting! Probably not so efficient, but it's so fun to have Gandalf as the ring bearer!
-
Well, I might try it. Watch and Wait would be an awesome card for this purpose.

I run this as a kinda "what the heck" deck, its got Warmed Up A Bit, Woodland Onod, Inspiration, Momentous Gathering. Some followers and Strange Meeting.
I also played Enraged Shepherd. Inspiration = clear out some minions for the double.
Here's what you could do. Run this insane filter style. I mean, insane. Start the whole shebang (Gandalf RB) with Saved From The Fire, roast Maggot into 2 Warmed Up A Bit and...idk. Tom Bombadil's Hat to control the burdens (you only need to spot them to play it, not to keep it in play). Momentous Gathering with more Ents and 4 Watch and Wait. Strange Meeting + followers could be fun. Or skirmish pumps to ditch with Gandy if necessary, and The Terror of His Coming provides synergy with Gandy RB.
Shadow side, you're gonna be drawing heavy shadow hands what with starting 8 comps, SFTF nabbing, Momentous Gathering thinning and Gandy constantly dumping freeps cards. Pick your killer shadow.

The disadvantages of Real-life decks: when you don't have the cards you need.
Thanks NB, but I wish I had SFTF...
