With all the damage +1 Uruks and how much they cost, considering mots strong enough companions will have an average of 3 vitality in-between games, I'm not sure you shouldn't simply exchange the copies of over-expensive Lurts for 2 Shotgun Enquea, and lose Greed in favor of 2 Beyond the Height of Men. I'd also consider a singleton Tower-Assassin, since it hits Filibert Bolger, Thrarin and outright kills troublesome Elrond and Orophin, when it first comes down, most of the time. Helps slowing them down.

id probably put in a lurtz's battle cry or two. coupled with savagery and lurtz, you can do some heavy damage with that.

Good deck combo between minions and free peoples!  I like using Hobbits...it's a sneaky thing.  There seems (to me) to be more strategy and trickery involved.  Just when the minions look like they are going to crush the wee hobbits, there is some card that saves them or at least minimizes the damage.  Especially against NAZGUL...which was the most popular minions where I played back when the game was still being produced.  It used to really piss people off using having hobbits beat nazgul.
The only thing I would add to your deck is Boromir, Son of Denethor.  I use him in ALL my hobbit decks.  Usually 4 copies, to discard for healing...he is like a pumping condition that fights back!
