Title: Database Search Engine
Post by: Kralik on January 19, 2011, 10:17:24 AM
I've updated the database search engine to Google's, and it seems to give both better results and integrate into my site layout. Any ads displayed will help support the site as well. Let me know how/if it works for you!

As always, if you want GREAT card searching abilities, use Zorbec's Decklist Builder (http://eric.minet.free.fr/dbdownl_en.htm). I had planned on writing an advanced search engine for this site by hand until I realized that it's all been done already--and better than I would have imagined. :)

Hi
I've only just found zorbec deckbuilder and i was wondering if there is a way to display the cards themselves ie a scan of the card would appear when clicked on. I see the author said he did not bundle the scans himself and suggested that each person scanned their own collection. i cant thinkiwill ever get round to that at my age i'd die before i managed it. so i was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of how to solve this without spending my remaining years bent over a scanner :)
regards

Yes, there is. Particularly you might want to check out the GCCG forum (Valinor) to see how to integrate them.
