I have been thinking about adding a threat engine so when Ferny kills his intended target it causes more death.

My Elves are not unstoppable, but it takes a good deck to kill them.

A little more respectful of your fellow forumers, please, especially one as universally respected in deckbuilding as Jord. Post your own decks, certainly, but if you want to comments on others', try a more constructive review. Insults are not tolerated.

Strike two..

Maybe Vengeful Wild Men for threats?  I'm just not sure what you would want to take out lol.

Is Legolas' Bow worth it for this deck?  Already an archer so it's just for the Toil benefit (which is nice).

:-?

Meh. Whatever.

TheJord:
Just thinking based on my own experience, here: Stuff like Pavise or Hides (yeah, rotated, I know....) kinda screws your elves. BUT... as long as you have Eowyn in there, you could throw in a few For The Mark to take care of anti-Archery possessions. Just a thought. I don't know how often you're running into stuff like that.

Also, don't forget the possibility of using The Prancing Pony to snag Glorfindel. That would free up a little space for For The Mark or something else, like perhaps Dernhelm's Blade.

I think that Gil-Galad, HEK fits better than Glorfindel... Gil-galad is just as big and those regroup wounds can make doubling very easy. I think 2x Into the West would remove threats a lot easier, since you can do this every turn, but Glorfindel might not win everytime, and if your archery deck is good enough, he won't even battle :) I think the possessions bit of his text is not really worth it.

I think nocked is THE archers event, and then weapons of lothlorien fits in your deck sweetly if you add some more threat removal. Actually I think weapons of lothlorien is so awesome... it's not everyday that you get the chance to direct wound 3 guys at once... don't underestimate the exerting bit; unless you're facing Dunland, those exertions will mean wounds and if there are a lot of exhausted minions, they'll die anyway with usual archery.

I wouldn't use Many Miles, instead I'd add 1x nocked and 2x weapons of lothlorien, or even double shot, but overall I think many miles is dreadful!! Too little for too much twilight.

I don't really like Hearth and Hall but that's me :)

Can't say anything about the ferny deck, sorry TJ :D it's better to just be quiet when u have nothing to add!

I would say 3 elven bows are enough. I would add Let Fly and mighty shot, they can be very powerful. Arwens Bow is nice for direct damage (maybe instead Legolas Bow?). Well, that means one more companion...
Arwen RM takes cards into hand in maneuver, so you enhance your chance to get archery events, if you need.
You could take her also with Prancing Pony, if you do not care about burdens.

There are no skirmish events, that might be dangerous for Galadriel. Further more, skirmish events reinforce tokens with the Silver Ewer.

Oh, I forgot, Celebring and Woodhall Elf are nice. Celebring could make Eowyn or Galadriel stronger, just in case, and Woodhall elf helps you, to draw archer events (and cards for Arwens Bow)

Holy this thread was necromanced badly. I posted it Aug 20th and it took 5 months to get a comment. of "crap" hahaha.

I find this Ferny deck effective. It can either overwhelm or wound to death.

If your gonna do what he say's then you might want to put an extra nocked and another many miles. Just saying that cuz I luv those two cards.
