This was one of the first decks I built which gave me victories. I know them pretty good therefor.
Shadow:
His Cruelty And Malice is a nice card but you need a high vitality minion in the regroup, not to hardly going to happen. So scrap that one for another desperate defense of the ring. Only 3 companions, give 1 2 copies to add to the fun. Verily I come will not see much use either I guess because the amount of fellowship drawing cards are limited. Band of the eye is nice, but there you need twilight after he has maybe won. Would rather go for another dead marshes.

Where is Ring of Guile to get back nobody tosses a dwarf? Where is Ring of Artifice (not sure, but I mean the RoS one) to get back Ring of Guile to get back nobody tosses a dwarf? :twisted:.
I think you should go expanded, just play Mountain Homestead 4x as the pump and focus on the discarding....other than that, don't play this too often, for you'll run out of friends ;)

Aggression is great for card draws and Honed. Final Account is easy retrieval if you use, say, Radagast to help overtake your opponent.

Except its not an open classic. Its expanded legal. Not a single banned card in there, if you want, I'll move it to expanded.
Need an extra Nobody Tosses a Dwarf and a couple more Ring of Guile. Add in another Desperate Measure on the shadow side, and The Ring Is Mine. You're running dwarf cycling, you can afford to make it 33/33. I'd cut all the Band of the Eye in preference for Gorgoroth Stormer. Kill two birds with one stone! Tower of Barad-Dur usually makes them lose initiative, so you get a burden and help them cycle...a little too fast. :D Need another DDotR. Probably cut Southern Spies.

Courtyard Parapet is the banned card. Remove it and it can go Expanded. Although if I follow ES adding in Aggression will mean Open again, and I can throw in Memories of Darkness for more cruelty.
Stormer and Barad-dur is a nice combo. My next deck will be a Sauron Grind deck.

Yeah I can agree with NB on something :up:. Why do so many people think Courtyard Parapet is x-ed in expanded too. People run Courtyard Parapet in expanded all you want.
