Hi!
For some reason I can't join the server. There was a blackout here while the client was running, and when I tried to launch it after, the screen stayed black, with only the cursor on it. So, I reinstalled it, and ran update everything. Now at least the program is starting, but it says:
Connecting to lotrtcgd.com port 29120
Server closed connection.
ABNORMAL EXIT!
Is something wrong with the server, or am I banned (if so, then may I ask why?)?
EDIT:
I created a new account and now it works (but I don't have my cards :()

It wasn't necessarily a good idea to create a new account! You'll have to get your old password from me. This happens so often I think someone (hint, hint) needs to write up a post on "What to do if I lose my password/settings files/etc."
I've been doing a password reset practically every day now.

Wouldn't this mean that, perhaps, we might need a "password change" function? Or a prompt for the password at login, so we can actually play in other computers without needing a folder?

It doesn't work that way without extensive reprogramming. All your password info is stored in C:\.gccg (or GCCG\home if you wish) and all you need to do is save/copy that directory to play on other computers.

Oh. I didn't know, I don't know the first thing about programming.

I did that before reinstalling, but it didn't work for some reason... I guess that random space that was in the PW you sent me today was in that file too, and I missed to notice it.

Kralik, I have the same problem.. Could you please update the account and send me the login info within a PM?
Thanks a lot!

Your GCCG username is not shown in your TLHH profile. Please update it (http://lotrtcgdb.com/forums/index.php?action=profile;sa=forumProfile) and then I will double-check the IP's before sending the password.
