Title: Lorien Protector
Post by: Haszor on February 24, 2011, 09:34:31 AM
I was browsing the database and came across this
Lorien Protector
I'm not sure whether this has been asked before but I don't understand what it's game text means.  It sounds like it means that if another companion is assigned to a skirmish all minions lose all damage bonuses against him.  Is that the case?

He can soak up some threat wounds, too.

How does he soak threat wounds if he can't take any more wounds.  Doesn't that mean that he isn't an option for more than one wound?  Also wouldn't Orc slayer still be able to hit him due to the fact that his game text is a regroup action and not a skirmish phase?

The key reason it works is in the phrasing of "prevent" vs. "cannot take wounds."
