I would say yes because the Mirror lets them look at 2 cards before the discarding can take place.

Yes, if they can't look at the cards, they cannot discard one and replace another.

Decipher nerfed it, sadly. It's almost impossible to actually use (7 or more cards in hand? Riiiight...)

I do agree because of NPE, but I think the errata was a bit overkill. It's essentially unplayable now. The only way you can use it is if the Shadow player plays a single minion and nothing else!

It still is a bit useful if you want fighting elf allies, but agreed, the errata was overkill
