Title: Smeagol, BoGS and The Dead City

What happens if Smeagol BoGS has The Dead City on and dies as the Ringbearer? Is it game over no matter what anyways?

i'm pretty sur ethere is a rule that the RB can't be discarded.

The ring-bearer can not be discarded.

Same situation with Bilbo, BotB and Why Shouldn't I Keep It?
