Title: Clockspinning Planeswalkers?
Post by: SomeRandomDude on August 30, 2008, 08:43:18 AM
Anyone know of an effective way to do this? I know that there was an idea to use Clockspinning to add loyalty counters to Planeswalkers, but I'm not sure how easy that would be.

I'm thinking of maybe Jhoira of the Ghitu and Djinn Illuminatus to grab all your planeswalkers and max their tokens out, then drop them all simultaneously. Ramp up with accelerators possibly, drop all the planeswalkers (of which you pack 4 each), and then Clockspin with Djinn to hit the appropriate level necessary, drop 'em all and watch bad things start happening.

But I'm not sure if that's real efficient. Any other ideas?

Well, I tried a UG version of Miracle Growth, playing Jace, Garruk and Quirion Dryad (REALLY neat with Ponder, Clockspinning, etc). It's cute and it's fun, but not really strong. Worth a shot at it, though. Oh, and moved to Open Discussion, since it's not a deck per se yet.

Typos fixed.
