Title: GCCG problem

It's my first time using GCCG and I try to open the program.  It opens fine but then I get a message saying "Server closed connection. ABNORMAL EXIT!"  What does this mean and how do I fix it?
Edit: This happened right after I made my account.  It told me to quit and I did so but upon re-entry I got this message.  I have tried to execute an emergency repair to no avail.

are you trying to access it at a school or workplace or something?

You have to change the server adress..
Take a look at the GCCG forum, u have to right click on lotr.bat and open it with notepad.. and change the server adress or something!

That is no longer necessary, as the change was made permanent long ago as long as it is updated.

Is it possible that you are using someone else's username and password? Try with the LotR launcher (ring icon) and fill in your username/password of choice, then click "Write Login Info." See if it lets you in then.
