This is my favourite movie block deck. (I really like the way Zorbec's does the layout for these decklists). As a long time sda builder, I must say Zorbec's is by far superior and is excellent that it's so easily linked to gccg (promos and stuff).

I just decided to respond to some of these posts around the forums because the only thing really going on right now is Osama reactions.
You know I love this deck...but what happened to that copy of Mind and Body? I thought it was pretty badass that you used that card. I do like the bonus Sauron addition.
This is just a preference, but I prefer Sword of Gondor and even Knight's Spear over Gondorian Sword.

Mind and Body as cool as it is, is not consistant enough. Only once have I ever killed extra companions with it, so I gave that spot to Sauron.
You might also notice the lack of Faramir, Wizard's Pupil. Faramir, Son of Denethor is probably better, although the ability to repeat WP's text with the whole skirmish healing thing can make Merry a beast.
The sword is a preference thing, I went for the extra cycling.

I prefer Faramir, Son of Denethor to Wizard's Pupil in this deck. Sometimes there will just be that particularly tough minion with the great game text and it might just be too important to get around that.
Plus, Wizard's Pupil exerting a lot uses more of the weeds.
I had never thought about it until now, but do you think a copy of Boromir, Son of Denethor might be a good card to toss in the draw deck just in case you really need him? I am just imagining using Gandalf, Greyhame now and maybe having a Radagast, Boromir, Son of Denethor, and maybe an Aragorn, Ranger of the North for those "just in case" situations.

Good ideas, but would change the deck too much. All card slots here are pretty important. This is my favourite deck for a reason, it kicks #$&*@!! Against certain shadows like Wounding/Archery (which is popular on gccg) it is awesome. Removing 4x burdens for 16x heals in the fellowship phase.. Nice.
A few people have been like: 'You can't do that'. XD

Like it, but then again, I like any good deck that uses pipeweed. If it wasn't for those stupid corsairs it would have been all over the place. I know you keep your decks tight the way they are, but I must say I would love that card if smeagol wins, add burden, remove minion. That is so awesome, especially when Morcs are huge. Beat the orc, discard the witchking.....

IS Sauron that useful? I also don't like Twilight Otsea and Lemenya that much, as well as the singleton Ferny, I think by losing the trio (and possibly Sauron), you could add in It Wants to be Found for quicker burden piling. You could also consider losing a Fell Beast and 1 twilight Enquea for a pair of Stricken Dumb, or at least a Helpless and a Tower Assassin, or a Helpless and a The Ring Draws Them (I think it's this one, from RotRL, that adds twilight to the pool based on the number of burdens...).

I think Stricken Dumb is a terrible card and wouldn't use it any deck. It Wants to be Found could be a good idea, but I do like to keep the ammount of shadow events down in most decks though and I'm already running 4x Morgul Gates here. At 35 cards and only 16 minions, I don't think removing minions for more support is a very good idea.

Nice freeps. I've been playing with a similar set up for a while but I never thought to add Shire Countryside to the mix. If you want to focus on Merry a little more, Depart Silently and Escape are both useful. I would also try to fit in Coat of Mail so Faramir can take the larger minions without Merry's help. Which reminds me, I would still use Wizard's Pupil over Son of Denethor, just because it gives you more options. That's just preference I guess. Lastly, I'm not sure that Birthday Present is entirely necessary- if you planned carefully you should have enough burdens in the fellowship phase anyways, and at least in my meta recurring NfFatRD isn't helpful.
And the shadow doesn't look like any deck I've ever used before, so I'll just leave it.
